Hola queridísimos lectores de la web. La productora Vortex y su gente nos han permitido conversar con Henrik Klingenberg, virtuoso tecladista de la banda finlandesa Sonata Arctica, quienes se aproximan en su venida a Latinoamérica, y Chile en especial, los días 11 y 13 de marzo en Santiago y Antofagasta respectivamente.
TMR: Daremos inicio a esta entrevista hablando sobre su presente, ¿Cómo sientes que Pariah Child ha sido recibido por la crítica y los fans?
Henrik: Como siempre, existe gente a la que le gusta el disco y otra que no, en palabras generales pienso que la recepción del disco ha sido más positiva en comparación al último disco "Stone Grows Her Name".
TMR: ¿Qué canción del disco es la más complicada para tocar en vivo?
Henrik: Tal vez "X-Marks The Spot", no es realmente complicada pero hay un montón de cosas que recordar y un montón de cosas para las que tienes que estar listo, lo que significa que tienes que calentar tus manos. Aunque de todos modos la mayoría de nuestras canción no son tan difíciles de tocar.
TMR: ¿Cuál es la razón para volver a grabar Ecliptica?
Henrik: Nuestra compañía discográfica japonesa quería que lo hiciéramos y nosotros pensamos ¿por qué no? Para mi es más que un tributo al disco original, por que la mayoría de los integrantes de la banda han cambiado y no estamos intentando reemplazar al viejo Ecliptica.
TMR: ¿Existen planes para grabar nuevo material?
Henrik: Comenzaremos a trabajar en nuestro nuevo disco en el 2016, por que la mayoría de este año estaremos de gira. Si es que tenemos tiempo haremos algo entremedio, pero no se ilusionen demasiado.
TMR: Existe cierta conexión entre ustedes y sus fans latinoamericanos, ¿Cuál piensas que es la razón de ello?
Henrik: No tengo idea, pero hemos sido tratados muy bien por nuestros amigos latinoamericanos y me siento muy afortunado por estar en esa posición, muchas gracias!.
TMR: ¿En el futuro existe la posibilidad de grabar un dvd en Latinoamérica?
Henrik: Cualquier cosa es posible, no hemos decidido donde grabaremos nuestro siguiente DVD pero Latinoamérica es una de las opciones.
TMR: ¿Qué recuerdos tienes de tu última visita a Chile?
Henrik: Fue ruidosa como siempre, una gran noche y estoy ansioso por regresar. Sé que todos estamos ansiosos por regresar.
TMR: ¿Has tenido la oportunidad de conocer alguna banda chilena?
Henrik: He hablado brevemente con las bandas teloneras, pero solo eso.
TMR: ¿Que pueden esperar los fans chilenos para el show que la banda ofrecerá en Marzo?
Henrik: Les mostraremos nuestro nuevo disco Pariah's Child al igual que tocaremos algunas canciones más antiguas, así que estoy seguro de que será un show que todo el mundo podrá disfrutar.
TMR: Finalmente, este espacio es tuyo puedes decir lo que quieras a tus fans.
Henrik: Ha pasado un año desde la última vez que vimos a nuestros amigos chilenos, así que es tiempo de regresar, acompáñennos y tengamos una noche especial juntos. Saludos!!

TMR: Hello, we hope which you can answer all the questions, and thanks for your time. How do you feel has been received your latest album Pariah Child?
Henrik: As usual some people like it and some people don’t, generally speaking I think the reception has been more positive than for the last album for example.
TMR: What song from the new album is more difficult to play live?
Henrik: Maybe Xmarks the spot, it’s not really that difficult but there’s a lot to remember and a lot of noodeling which means you have to get your hand warmed up. Most of our songs are really not that difficult to play anyways so...
TMR: What is the reason to rerecord Ecliptica?
Henrik: Our japanese label wanted us to do it and we though why not ? For me it’s more of a tribute to the original since most of the members have changed and we’re definitely not trying to replace the old Ecliptica.
TMR: There are plans to record new material?
Henrik: We’ll start working on the next studio album in 2016 since we’ll be on tour for most of this year. If we have some time we might do some stuff in between but don’t hold your breath.
TMR: There is certain connection between you and your Latin American fans, Do you know the reason for that?
Henrik: I have no idea but we’ve been treated very well by our Latin American friends and I feel that we’re really lucky to be in that position, thanks a lot !!
TMR: In the future it would be possible to film a dvd in Latin American ?
Henrik: Anything is possible, we haven’t decided where we’ll film the next DVD but Latin America is one of the options.
TMR: What memories do you have of your last visit to Chile?
Henrik :As loud as ever, it was a great night and I look forward to be coming back. I know we all are !
TMR: Have you had the chance to meet some Chilean metal band?
Henrik: I’ve talked briefly with some of the support bands over the years but that’s about it.
TMR: What can fans expect Chileans to show that his band offered in March?
Henrik: We’ll be showcasing our new album Pariah’s Child as well as play some older hits so I’m sure it’ll be a show that everyone can enjoy.
